In pursuit of happiness...

“Imagination grows by exercise, and contrary to common belief, is more powerful in the mature than in the young.” - W. Somerset Maugham

Creativity has become all consuming in my thoughts of late. I have reached a point where my imagination, in conjunction with creativity, has started to take top priority in my life. I am feeling the need to find my inner passion again. Emotional, spiritual and physical wear and tear have caused my 'joie de vivre' to diminish a little over the years. So, although I have no desire to recapture my youth... I do have a desire to reintroduce the things that brought me great pleasure in my youth. I used to play the guitar …… so I walked into a local antique shop the other day and came out with a 60 year old Jose Luis Velazquez acoustic guitar. I used to draw and paint…… so I went out and bought sketch books, pencils and charcoal. I used to have an old camera and enjoyed capturing moments in time…… so my kids went out and bought me a new one.

Imagination in abundance… Creative Passion ready to be unleashed… what more could a gal ask for in her Pursuit of Happiness….
